INTERNATIONAL NUTRITION ANNOUNCES ALLIANCE TO MARKET DIGESTAROM, A UNIQUE DIGESTION ENHANCER

(OMAHA, NE) International Nutrition, Inc. (INI-agworld.com) of Omaha, Nebraska and MICRO-PLUS Konzentrate GmbH (MICRO-PLUS.com) of Stadtoldendorf, Germany recently finalized an agreement to market the digestarom® family of products to the United States feed industry. The digestarom® products are unique blends of botanical extracts and natural flavors designed to offer a natural alternative or supplement to antimicrobial growth and health enhancers for livestock and poultry producers. This alliance will combine complementary capabilities in production, marketing, and distribution.

Each product in the digestarom® family is designed for a specific species and stage of production. The blend of essential plant extracts from various herbs and spices varies between each product to meet the specific needs of each specie of livestock. The digestarom® products are designed to work in two ways: as a digestibility enhancer and as an immunity enhancer.

Under the agreement International Nutrition will provide technical and sales support as well as warehousing. The technical lead for this project will be Dr. Jim Smith who states: “Digestarom® offers an exciting new way to improve the efficiency and health of all livestock and poultry.”

Micro-Plus, formed in 1984, is a leading global manufacturer of flavors, sweeteners, and phytogenic feed additives for animal nutrition. As the feed flavor business evolved, Randolf Nott, the inventor of digestarom® and CEO of MICRO-PLUS, found that certain substances in natural flavors supported the digestive system and improved animal health. MICRO-PLUS continues to research to improve the line of digestarom® products.
